Could very well be. I've done the same on the other end to them. Slap the ask and raise the bid. They don't like that too much either! lol I figure it takes 2 to play a game! Like I said i don't worry on day to day trading with this one but, it does get irritating. We will all have our day soon!

It's called wash trading, and it's illegal so I highly doubt that's what's going on.

I think a retail trader is using NITE and ETRF in two separate accounts. They have a large amount of shares and they trade between accounts to manipulate the price.

NITE is used by several discount brokers
ETRF is etrade's mm

news comes, volume comes and price does not increase = someone is selling into the news, either it's dilution or retail sellers
