Not an insignificant release today!
It was mind boggling. If you have not done so, kindly take the time to read my earlier posts. Not that I know it all, but clearly this was an incredible development.
Basically, folks are blowing it off- after all, who is Inovio? It must be discouraging to the folks who worked so hard at this, but without institutional ownership, the stock is a play thing at the mercy of day traders, market makers and short manipulation. Because Kim retained so much under the agreement with Roche, it also left the ball in Inovio's court. It was a smart, strategic move, but in the short run it did not get us much traction.
Short sales on a daily basis, even at this low pps is about 35%. I think it will stay this way until either another agreement, clinical trials, or the next payment from Roche. Although my fortune cookie said it was going to be mid November, I would guess by December we will see two out of three for sure, and maybe all three. Perhaps then we shall see some movement up.
