those of us who work with and for public companies know when it's better to say nothing than to make predictions that have little or no chance of coming to fruition.

I own a business as a side line and I can tell you that I NEVER mention anything about things that I don't control until they are done.

I don't mention things like "we might get a huge contract" or "we might be in a magazine" until it's done... It's just good business practice and my credibility is 100% intact with my team... it's not "oh the boss said this is going to happen, YEAH RIGHT!!! BAHAHAHAHA!" it sounds more like "the boss said it, so expect it!"

Nick on the other hand likes to speak of things he can't deliver and then wonders why we get all upset when it never happens...

He should stay quiet, and when he has results, come out with them... Always saying "this will happen soon" or "expect this any day now" and it not happening is making him look like he is trying to string people along for nefarious purposes...

1-2 missed shots is 1 thing, but when it becomes routine, then it becomes very suspicious...
