Yes. They're paying out less and less to contracted parties. Now, if you're listening to iTunes Radio, they get 100% of that download, instead of paying the finders fee.

I'm curious if iTunes will have it's own "shazam" style recognition at some point too. Not like it would be some breakthrough, it could be one of many more services AAPL will be offering in the future though.
