at this point its rather silly for kim to be worrying about future progress of future products...how about the present and products that exist now?...he needs to deal with present issues...present products...and their progress...

You have several failures here. For every reason Kim gave in the PR, there is an opposite unfilled need.. Being able to talk on a customers level, might not be something solid to you, but for a professional, it is. So do you think speaking the same language is important? Come on Floyd, stop making yourself look silly.

Improvements in various perceived weaknesses are very solid.
For instance it improves communications with partners, it improves laboratory effectiveness, and gets future products to market faster. Now how is it that this ain't solid?
