FWIW derf, I agree with you on this issue. If iHub made it available at an additional cost, few if any would pay for it, so maybe it would be best to offer it for say $4.95 a month and only those who pay the fee can view it. I know the EDIGers won't ante up.
It seems that most of these boards die eventually anyway, getting down to one two regular posters just posting away. Here are two private boards created by EDIGers. This one is now the emit board: #board-1578 and this one is the cksla board: #board-963
These private boards don't usually seem to succeed.
