I live not too near the airport, but the planes make a wide turn after takeoff and I swear take a path DIRECTLY over my place, albeit at 5,000+ feet altitude. Things have been known to fall off these planes in various locales. None here, so far - I wave, still, and look up and hope. Why they pick my place, I'll never know. Fate - I guess. Maybe it IS the funny faces that attracts them.
