I can tell where you are coming from. How many VoIP cos are public? What does Home Depot do that Loews doesn't do? Mobile VoIP is an emerging mobile technology in an industry sector which has recently started consolidating. Relative to your 50 questions regarding Vox , try doing what most traders do; it's called due diligence.

Some of these don't call landlines. Some of these don't have the capability to give you a second phone number. Some of these are only app to app. Some of these require using Google voice, which IMO is annoying and a lot of extra work. Some of these cost too much (relative to Vox). Some of these cost NOTHING and so are worthless to shareholders. Every app I've seen proposed as an alternative to Vox has some or one of these issues. Vox doesn't have any of those issues. It is straightforward, does not require Google voice, and calls any line. It's also the cheapest for international calling I've seen.

Personally, I wouldn't even bother to try a service that doesn't call landlines. I want to be able to call ANY number from whatever number I happen to be using at the moment.
