j3pflynn, that´s not what the article says. It´s not like AMD planned more than one large-scale opteron launch conference on April 22nd. And then there´s the statement about introducing the processor by issuing press releases instead. SARS has already impacted several events in Europe - for obvious reasons. Many of AMD´s most important partners come from Taiwan, and if you followed the news on SARS recently, you´d know how Asians coming from SARS affected countries are treated when travelling abroad. The event seems to be cancelled, unless the article is wrong.
