Very true. There are so many hobbies/niche channel possibilities that would look great in 4K. Fishing, travel, gaming, photography, painting, scuba... I can't think of one thing that wouldn't be improved by this tech.
Personally, what I'd like to see is the return of nature documentaries that were so prolific on some channels before the "Reality TV" take over. But that's the beauty of the future of television, the user will be able to pick and choose what channel's he or she wants to subscribe to.
Of the 100 plus channels offered to me, I can think of about five I consistently watch; and of those 5 channels, there's probably only a hand full of shows I prefer. Why not just pay for what I do watch, instead of pay for what I don't watch?
Seems that a lot fat trimming needs to be done with regards to making TV more efficient/affordable in the future, and NTEK is in position to provide that service.
