Was a "company buyback" not in the works back a year ago when the SEC busted this scam?
If one notes the amount of the virtual buyback, and compares it to the number of shares Reid was on record of owning at the time, the numbers are very close. One can not eliminate the possibility the so called buyback was Reid selling most of his common shares to the company. Possibly even off market. If Reid were to ever submit a 10-12G to register the stock as he originally promised after the suspension, then one would know exactly how many common shares he owns: 179M or 140M?
