I dont think earnings will be lower but likely higher as before September many sales are pending to close as well as July and August has been very busy.
Remember it usually takes about 30-60 days to close on a loan... There are many steps to get a loan and application to clear for closing...
I expect higher then last quarter... fnma and fmcc will see a boost in my opinion
