I agree great post...people are hung up on the F500/1000 news. I said it a while back but I don't expect that particular news to drop until the audit is completed...I could name at least two stocks with a similar SS to GCEI and both are trading much higher, upwards of 5000% higher in one particular case. One of the main differences between that stock and GCEI is we are sitting on the Pinks and the other is OTCQB....come on GCEI! finish the audit and uplist please....
Well the trouble is that the 750k (yet unconfirmed officially) is money in the pockets of Nova ReNew, and not GCEI. They are partners, but not the same company. Having said that, I agree with you that both companies have a tremendous potential. If you read through GCEI's business plan (their annual report http://www.otcmarkets.com/financialReportViewer?symbol=GCEI&id=102766), and read through Nova ReNew's proposal to HRM (http://www.halifax.ca/boardscom/SCenv/documents/DietmarTholenP2OPresentation-HRM.pdf) they both seem like they have solid plans for the future. Going by Nova ReNew's business summary, they are right on track with their time frames, securing funding from NRC/IRAP and approaching InnovaCorp, etc. It does state that right in their proposal to the City of Halifax. I did contact them to set up a meeting but have not heard back as of yet.
I just wish that GCEI's IR releases were more timely, more detailed, more accurate, more transparent. They have a million things in the works, but no updates, nothing concrete - just fluff and empty promises of coming PRs. I contacted the National Research Council of Canada - Industrial Research Assistance Program this afternoon to get confirmation of the grant and some details on it. I've been hanging on to these shares for a LONG time and will continue to do so as I do believe that GCEI has a future. Let's hope that we are right.
Good post. The main points the grant does bolster claims the company is legit and embarking on a project that is deemed by a third party to be worthwhile, at the least. So, it is a big show of confidence in the company, so that is good....
