I for one am a true long and could have dumped when Dutch did but was worried I wouldn't get back in at these levels. Am I sorry I held on? Yes. But I feel we have a once in a lifetime option here and I'm not giving this up until I see a .10 ask. IMHO I feel this is not a pipe dream at all

in the context of investing, being long means either 1) buying shares of a stock based on the expectation that a stock will go up 2) buying call options or selling put options
it is true that in the capital gains context, long term gains are those for assets held over a year
but when speaking about investing, to be a "long" only means you are not a "short", it does not say anything about your time horizon
that is why i describe myself as a "long long"
and i once got a lollipop from the school nurse after i skinned my knee in kindergarten, so clearly, i know what i am talking about when it comes to communication and my opinion should be given great weight
