Yes, investors (and some companies) throw around the term reserves and resources interchangeably without knowing the specifics and implications that differentiate the terms in the mining world. I don't believe we would see any mining professionals use the term "reserves" unless it was geologically warranted by appropriate data and analysis to classify it as such.
Medinah has historically, incorrectly, and I believe unintentionally used the term "potential reserves" when they should be using the term "potential resources". I've notified them of their improper use of the term in their past shareholder communications and hope that they will err on the side of caution with regards to future communications.
