I dont believe that is an accurate statement, not accurate at all infact, most of the State actions have not even been filed in court yet, most of them, such as Florida, which you cited, are still in the investigation phase right now, you dont settle on investigations, you settle on charges brought forward from the investigations, and on the same note, the recent class-action settlement does not settle the State cases, according to the EFF, infact, according to the settlement, any additional reliefs born out of ANY of those suits are automatically additive to the agreed settlement, more importantly though, it certainly cant/wont automatically settle any State or Federal suits that may/have yet come out of the many current investigations into the faulty and dangerous softwares that Sony/BMG used.
