OLD TIME FIREWOOD & TREE Co fraud Update


So i followed the Business license of Old time FireWood & Tree Co.. yes they do have a county business license for Taxation purposes only! but that doesnt mean anything in the world of logging and trees as you know..lol

The problem with the suspended license is that OODH claims they do work for the National Forestry Division, Home Depot,and etc..
this does not allow them to do logging or tree work ... as you know they need a Contractors License to do that.. and im sure to do any real work with Gov. Home Depot and others they require a workers comp license, contractor license and bond... all of which OODH has None or suspended

be warned old time is a rip off! owner randy hoff delivered a so called cord of seasoned oak to my residence and i could not be more upset about it. first it was no even close to being a full cord of firewood wich is supposed to measure 4 feet by 4 feet by 8 feet instead after several measurements it was more like 3 feet by 3 feet by almost 7 feet quit a bit short. second what was supposed to be oak was a top layer of nice oak with everything under it a mix of old pine and cedar containing mold and rot.and third and final when i brought this to mr. hoffs attention he argued cursed and called me a liar,refusing to make good on his shady business deal.to this day he refuses to return my call.

BOTTOM LINE RANDY IS DOING NOTHING MORE THEN PROBABLY RESELLING FIREWOOD... THR TRUCKS THE CONTRACTS IMO IS ALL BS

They also are unfair competition for licensed contractors who operate with bonds, insurance and other responsible business practices.
What is the CSLB doing to stop illegal activity?

The Statewide Investigative Fraud Team (SWIFT) is set up to monitor and combat illegal activity. SWIFT has teams around the state that conduct stings on a regular basis and sweep construction sites.

SWIFT also conducts joint operations and sweeps with other state agencies dedicated to combating underground activity. The partnerships with other agencies raise the penalties and fines for violators by increasing the scope of violations to include taxes, illegal payrolls, workers compensation and worker safety.
