I think you give Crayola too much credit.
The Crayola program uses JBI to process used markers and reject crayons. It is good publicity for both companies and the reject crayons are a good, regular source of feed stock. The recycled markers are an intermittent source of feed stock. The recycled markers are free and a high quality feed stock even if the amount is not substantial.
The Fox coverage is great national exposure for JBI. According to IR it has resulted in a lot of companies contacting JBI to explore relationships. Whether that results in new relationships only time will tell. No matter how you slice it, having the phone ringing with companies wanting to talk is a good thing.
