Paul, the AMD stuff was the one factor, the favourable development in the legal process the other, that really sent them through the roof.
Rambus Inc. shares continued on their skyward ascent on Monday, following a ruling last week that a memory patent trial with Hynix Semiconductor Inc. could go forward, in spite of Hynix's request to dismiss the case.
I wonder what patents AMD was really interested in. Perhaps they had to do it just to be safe with their IMC + F-stepping parts.
