#59229 RE: DonD #59228

Thanks Don, that is sound advice.

I have a limit order already at just over my adjusted basis in one of my accounts. My significant other demanded I take that position when the Unlandia Empire sank.

For the rest, I figure if I stay somewhat involved over the next few months, I'll not miss out on the (hopefully) next big swing.

Using limits can work, but I've had mixed results in the past. I sold a big board stock that was briefly down 15% that ended up 19% for the day when my stop loss was triggered- that was rather hard to swallow, and likely indicative of poor pricing on my part.

And like everyone else, I'm here to make money. Should we get third party confirmation of a REAL partner who has unquestionable bona fides, I'll stay in, cancel limit orders, and enjoy the ride.

But in the meantime I'm going to enjoy the humor as the rascals in charge of our "Capital Company" continue to trip over themselves. Even a rock-ribbed long such as yourself has to concede this clown car ride never ceases to amuse! ;-)
