The investigations were OBVIOUSLY due to the William Jefferson investigation who had dealings with Nigerian sources. The pattern is obvious. They raided his home and found $90,000 in the freezer. They raided his congressional office even though doing that was unprecedented and they raided the ERHC office because of some of the Nigerian connections Jefferson had that were indirectly connected to ERHC. While no evidence was ever found on ERHC, there is absolutely NO doubt in my mind what happened and why.
