Why go deep?

OOleum, if the bottom reservoir did not have oil why would they drill down to check for source rock? I could see if they hit oil ( maybe not commercial) and then wanted to check out the thickness and age of the source rock but if NO OIL then no way they would do that.

Interesting theory you have and I DO APPRECIATE your response. Time will tell but if they went deep to me that is NOT a good sign.

Ooleum, as I have said before, I think no news is good news at this point. But I do think we'll get a PR before Mid September (say by the 7th), and I am not so sure they will go deeper than the 4100 target.

Will be interesting to see the final outcome on this drill.

OT: Had an amazing dream about a 250M+ thick commercial reservoir found at Moosehead last night. Let's just say I woke up with a smile.........and hope we get lucky with this one.
