Politically, an appeaser is one who submits to the demands of a strong party in an attempt to avoid a confrontation.
Hitler demanded the German speaking portion of Czechoslovakia.
Chamberlain said OK as far as Britain was concerned. Chamberlain was lambasted as an appeaser.
Bush demands the right to invade any nation he deems a threat to the US. Nobody says OK except Blair. Once again the British are the appeasers. Don't you get it ?
