#59183 RE: Goldstrike #59181

I believe that what we are seeing with Medinah Minerals is a fundamental change in direction, particularly since the appointment of Dennis Tenney as CEO. Greater transparency and better communication between the company and its shareholders seems to be the trend here.

Care to amend your statement? ;-)

Looks like the same apathy for stockholders we've suffered through for years continues. Tenney's silence is "untenable" at this stage of the game. I'm guessing even the most loyal supporters are more than weary hearing the normal excuses for lack of communication that filter through unauthorized channels. Let's call a moratorium on translations of Lespeak while we are at it, no offense Rayfer, or at a minimum, properly distinguish between "principal" and "principle"... ;-)

Transparency is usually best demonstrated by public companies in the form of complete financial statements reviewed by competent professionals, and we still are woefully behind the curve in that department.

The rise in share price shouldn't be so difficult to understand given that the company has a 30% FCI (Free Carried, or as Dr. DeCosta would say, Royalty Interest) in a producing mine on the LDM, a joint venture agreement just around the corner, and the very real possibility that the Alto will be proven up in a drilling program, beginning perhaps as early as this year.

Sadly, the mediocre "rise" has completely petered out, not that it had much of anything in terms of volume or momentum behind it in the first place. We're still trading at a terrible level (at least for me, I'm not one of the geniuses who claims to have a $0.0001 stock basis).

It would be tough to prove or quantify this, but I suspect our little blip of appreciation was almost entirely due to purchasing by the usual suspects, not "new meat", which we so desperately need if we're ever going to make money. ARE YOU LISTENING, MR. TENNEY?

When I first read your post a few days ago I was hoping that amateur hour might actually be coming to an end. I wish I could say I still have that optimism...
