I'm not totally sold on retail outlets either but these types of stores are much less costly to open than say a Starbucks. However, you're right about the overhead and the cost to maintain a store. I would hope that the company would open 2-3 stores as a test bed before going crazy and opening all 30 and then finding out that it may be too soon for this type of store. There is a hydroponic store by me that has been in business for a while but I have no idea how profitable this store is. I really think the bread and butter is the Phototron and online sales for those who want to grow their own and commercial growers. I feel like the time is right for the Phototron to take off.
