I wish I knew. Maybe perhaps to keep low profile? Maybe perhaps to keep people out of it?

Or a scarier thought might be. Maybe the big guys don't care about these patents? Why spend 1-2 billion when you can spend nothing, still use the technology and let Vplm take you to court? A court case would take years and bankrupt a Vplm. Just a thought.
