I was actually thinking the very same thing after I wrote it, this does affect the stock-market very much so it can't be totally off :-)
Interesting that Clinton has said that, I wasn't aware of it.
Imo, Syria is primarily about weakening Iran and the toppling of another leader that are not in the leash of the US is of course very interesting.
If it was decisive I could bet 50% of my Siaf-portfolio that Assad had nothing to do with the chemical-event, it's just to much convenient (again) and why should he do the only thing that Obama have said would lead to a military invention, he might be incredibly stupid (I don't know him personally) but that just to much.....and again...very convenient....
I wish I had the solution or suggestion to end this crusade but I don't. Home-opinion is still of somewhat importance but since there always seems to find ways to go around and/or find ways to manipulate or persuade the public in the US of the necessity of actions to take I'm almost giving in.
May I ask, is there any media in the US that says that there is no proofs right now and the attack in that case are alleged and not confirmed by Assad?
