I was hoping that they could do better on the price of that
30 inch display. They are clearly targetting Apple's Cinema
displays given the geometries that they offer.

I'd guess that your typical laptop won't be able to drive the
thing though. Nice to think about.

I was hoping that they'd some in at around $1,600. Maybe with
some big coupons.

Perhaps Dell ought to have considered the speediness of an AMD-based system with 2 SLI'd dual GPU Asus 7800s before they called theirs "speedy".
