A lot of great points trafficante. I believe that moving forward with purchases, the clear choice is implant. It's a much lower cost and effective product. As far as the replacement of current products, who really knows? I have never seen smiths or morpho make deals with the leading freight forwarders though. I believe implant will make big sales into this regardless of expiration dates of competitors.

My reason for investing here has and will continue to be the patented technology. I am conviced Smiths and Morpho have no answer, and have vacated the ETD marketplace. Neither are U.S. based, one was recentely involved with a federal lawsuit with our Government. IMSC is a pure play, those other two have many other iron's in the fire. Based on recent PR's from them it seems they are re directing efforts in other areas of technology/servicing of legacy equip etc. Typical progressive movement by TSA, but when sorted out I think it will be worth the wait, which has been a very long one. Rest of the year will be interesting,we should have a pretty good idea where we stand by then.

Has anyone point blank asked IMSC what the latest indications are with regard to an extension on the Jan 1 deadline? Companies that must comply surely are lobbying for an extension. The govt is notorious for kicking the can down the road. I am concerned.

I haven't been following this board as closely so may have missed some related info. Also - and related - what happened to the handheld June expiration? Did those get extended? If not, weren't there over 500 units that HAD to be replaced? What happened?

As time goes on and the orders remain very low relative to what we need for long term price support, the issue of these deadlines is extremely critical.

Lastly, when will we be getting the next update from IMSC?

Thanks, Ted
