It's all I ever suggested IMHO. Some (NOT saying it was YOU) attached an implication that was never really there:
My wording "more serious threat" was probably a poor choice because some interpreted it in absolute terms ("more serious threat than a serious threat") rather than the relative term it was when interpreted correctly IN CONTEXT: ("more serious threat than I thought Spiber was when I had explicitly stated it to be no threat at all, BEFORE I knew about the iterative process.
A more serious threat than no threat at all may be a very small threat the same way that more money than no money at all may be mere pocket change.
In the future I will be more careful with my wording to try to avoid the possibility of such misinterpretations
Emotions tend to get pretty high during SP declines and that exacerbated the situation IMHO. People start getting inappropriately personal over things that normally they wouldn't.
