I was just curious as to why people think this will be going to 3$...

Any investor is going to want to know what happens next after a settlement as it will determine the direction of the company. Look at HPQ they restructured about a year ago and the stock jumped. Now they are keeping up with historic revenues and the stock still sank 13% today because people are gambling on the future. Same thing here.
