I agree with you that genre tv is in it's infancy. Very much like the start of TV. Black and white picture. Howdy Dudy. Groucho Marx. Milton Berle. three stooges and can go on and on.
IMO tv today has grown significantly. So will genre TV..............Dan.........go qbid
