I think you're on to something dowrite. If the "longs" were confident about their investment then the Asks would be slapped, share count would fade to the thinness claimed and pps would rocket. All of the shorters would have to cover. I'm sure the "longs" are out of cash to invest to pick up the other "longs" who are bailing. Least the Bids aren't being slapped by desperation...yet.
Actions speak louder than words. But I'm just a mosquito.
