It could be because people grow tired of the grind, the day to day drudgery of life. So when they see a certain investment vehicle pop they want to hop on board hoping they can improve their lives with more cash. I wish people on MB boards weren't so mean to them and call them idiots and poke fun of them as bagholders. I can see why they go for that long shot.
