The logic of the short position makes no sense as you have said. Regarding the "leg of the transaction" I will only indicate that the SEC has not responded to me that this is the case.
I wish I could post my dealings with the SEC regarding this occurrence on another ticker but the email is private.
Hopefully Mike is a stand up guy and might turn the company around. A long road of course. I will not hold my breath that it will occur or I might die soon. haha
