Reince Priebus Mocks Top Romney Aide Eric Fehrnstrom: 'I Don't Know If His Etch A Sketch Is On Tilt'

08/18/2013
WASHINGTON -- Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus made clear that the 2012 campaign is long over on Sunday, when he went after a former top aide to GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
On Friday, the RNC voted unanimously on Friday to ban CNN and NBC [ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/16/rnc-primary-debates_n_3768243.html ] from hosting 2016 primary debates if they go forward with proposed programs about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Former Romney adviser Eric Fehrnstrom [ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/10/eric-fehrnstrom-romney-_n_1754252.html ] criticized that decision on Twitter, saying it was "bad optics."
"Attacking the media is a loser's game," he added.
When asked about that comment on Sunday on ABC's "This Week," Priebus dismissed Fehrnstrom by mocking him for one of his infamous 2012 campaign comments.
"Well, I don't know if his Etch A Sketch is on tilt. ... I'm not really taking advice from Eric Fehrnstrom right now," Priebus said. ...
In March 2012, Fehrnstrom assured CNN that Romney's positions during the GOP primary campaign were as erasable as a drawing on an Etch A Sketch [ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/21/mitt-romney-etch-a-sketch_n_1369769.html ] when it came to the general election.

I hear Christie will ban "conversion therapy" - this should endear him to teabaggers - my guess is Christie knows how weak teabaggers really are, in spite of all their rhetoric!...pity Michaelle Bachmann's husband - he can't hustle his "pray away the gay" in NJ!
