agreed - options expiry had something to do with this close.
Just like GOOG is fighting a "defense in depth" against VRNG, trying to make a stand on every issue they can, so are the shorts fighting a "defense in depth" at this point.
Options expiry is one line they can defend. The good thing is that it is entirely a coincidence of the calendar, as opposed to anything fundamental.
I love it when the calendar distorts prices. Because time passes.
