I've done the same myself in the past with stocks.

All volume yesterday was shorted. That 148K was a short position. My guess is the MMs are trying to keep this down either to accumulate or to slowly cover a larger short position and keep tbe price from increasing quickly.

If the earnings/guidance don't paint a solid picture for the next two quarters - they will win.
