I was aware of the business entity look-up page. Unfortunately the page that includes the following doesn't appear until you enter an entity and access that page:
"Additional Information is available for a fee. You can retrieve Status for a fee of $10.00 or more detailed information including current franchise tax assessment, current filing history and more for a fee of $20.00."

I had tried to do my look-up at the "wrong" time of day and never got there:
"EA910: Online Corporate Information and Name Reservation Services are available during normal business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday."

Given the lack of detail to the Details I guess I'll hold on to my 20.
