I've never seen CC give any partnership the kind of advertising support
they have given GZFX. Thru more than 20 years with cc, most of those
uears as a store director, I implemented and executed many programs of
this type in the stores. The amount of prescence in the CC ads and on
the website encourages me to believe this is a long term partnership.
Remember that Schoonover is the master at partnerships that deliver
profit dollars to the bottom line and now he is the CEO of Circuit
City. Immeadiately after reading the news of the GZFX and CC
partnership i bought GZFX stock. I remember one meeting about AOL sales
where we were told "it's your resposibility to drive this program at
the store level" the stores responded with a 1700% increase in AOL
subscriptions in the next 30 days. If CC wants to drive GZFX subs
believe me it will happen. As far as buying GZFX , not likely to
happen. Why buy the company when CC can just collect $$$ and not have
the infrastructure to support. All in All I will be amazed it this deal
fails to be rolled out nationally. Good luck to all in 2006 GO GZFX!
