It has been many months since my phone conversation with Ed Withrow. He had spoken about a Stage I and II trials.

It also costs money per patient and so expanding that to 1,000 can cost him several millions USD.

40 patients is a good start.

Obviously ESSI needs to move faster as competitors will be launching their products too.

Does that mean that there was a problem or a denial of their previous patent application? I hope that is not the case.

Not really sure what this is really telling us.
Why did they have to re-file the patent application?
We already knew from previous messages that they had contracted with an organization to to the study and it is supposed to be complete in the next month. That isn't new.
As far as the numbers of people in the trial, that seems to be just thinking out loud about whether or not they need more patients involved or not.
The end result was that we will get notice if they expand the study?
I'm a little confused as to what all the questions were that summarize the response into - refiing the patent application, sending the trial group more questions? and the possibility of adding more patients to the trials.
