When you 1st proposed the idea for an online tasting, I supported you and urged that we go forward on it. There were only a handful of people signed on at the time. Since it was your idea I suggested that you make the 1st selection, and that I make the 2nd selection, since I started the board. About the same time you agreed to become moderator and asked for help. Soon after, to put some order in the process of wine selection, I suggested that everbody take a turn in their order of appearance on the board. There was no objection at the time. Perhaps consent was the wrong word. Since there was no objection I understood a default consensus.
Although I see some objections to my attempts to bring some order to the process, I have not heard any other suggestions or proposals or alternative ideas. I am not trying to command! Sing out your ideas. You want to have tastings more often, go for it. You want to re-establish the order for selecting the wines, then come up with another suggestion. You want to change the time? You are the moderator.
All this is easily validated by scanning thru the 1st 100 or so postings.
