The "new biologic" would have to compete with Enbrel and Humira which are already approved.
Methotrexate is standard of care so if in phase 3 it does better than SOC well kudos but it doesn't matter because it is just another expensive biologic. My Humira shots cost my insurance $1200 each a month and I take 3. Enbrel is even more expensive.
A new biologic is going to have a tough time getting on insurance company formularies.
Prurisol when it defines itself as better than SOC and as an oral alternative to biologics will be less expensive and easily be approved for second line treatment in psoriasis as Humira is now.
I say second line because methotrexate will still be cheaper for the insurance companies and they are in charge of making or breaking a drug once approved.

Prurisol once approved will wipe out second tier Humira and third tier Enbrel for the psoriasis indication!!
