And we all know that some of the early Popes were very bad.

And it is also known that the King of England set up his own church to break away from Rome.

And don't forget our latest runner for President , a Mormon ,
came from a more recent break off...

Nirvana, I find it to be sacrilegious to say that the Son of God, the Savior, and the Word would need to study anything and could be "influenced" by other teachings. I believe this is where your open-mindedness has taken you astray. I think you should be careful about creating God in your own image.
