It wont show in that list..its a template..not an EA..I just changed my tester EA to the MACD sample you mentioned and the template I use which is also saved as tester is running as it should.I see no reason yours would act differently so at the risk of being too redundant the process is save the template you are watching and trading by under a name such as PIP goldmine...then do another save but this time click on tester in your list of templates then save again.If tester is showing in your templates list then the strategy tester should run that template with the strat tester EA you choose.

BTW Qui..the MACD sample EA in the strat tester is as rotten as most EAs...even tho the TDI w alerts is running is has nothing to do with the quality of trade entries/exits done by the EA itself so ignore the poor auto trading and just use it to observe the TDI actions and alerts
