In general I agree with your view point.
Man has always needed a GOD. IMHO.
My guess the first god was the Sun god.

We know that Earth is very insignificant. IMHO.

We already know there are other Earth type planets.

We already know that MARS was capable of some type of life.

Most interesting to me, is Particle Theory, if ever proved,
there may be up to 12 universes.
Maybe one is Heaven ?

Finally, we are close to under standing the "god particle", which may tell us what dark matter is all about.
Dark matter makes up above 97% of the universe.

Now back to Earth and GOP vs DEMO for 2016 ....

We (our minds) are always either in the past or the future! It is a blissful experience and blessing to experience just "being" in the present moment through meditation and a focus on spirituality!

At the heart/core of every religion is spirituality. If you look at a banana, the fruit we eat is spirituality and the skin is religion.

Religion is very important to put you on the right track but unfortunately most get "stuck" in it and then engage in this age old war between people/countries. Once you dive into the spiritual aspect of your religion, you realize that every being is the same - God's children!
