Mortgage interest rates basically follow the long bond, so I watch a chart of $TNX (interest rates will lag changes in the $TNX chart a bit).

i had a great site bookmarked for interst rates but the link insnt working. do a google search on 30 year interest rates and im sure you will have multiple sites to choose from.
