As stem cell research progresses (its in early stages) the cost of these treatments will continue to drop- exponentially. Research, especially of this caliber takes alot of money (more than the 80mill that cbis burned in the last 5 yrs on administrative fees and gas bills)
I see you gave cbis' treatment a mortality rate of zero- i am assuming thats bc they have no such treatment therefore no one could of died. Again HIV has been a known lethal disease since its emergence, magic johnson was one of the first to bring hope of survival- now this stem cell treatment using bone marrow has been shown to cure the disease altogether (w a 28 day hospital stay which is certainly better than the alternative- death) but you are putting your money on dr bob, cbis and an untested treatment which could last much longer than 28 days (could take months or yrs and who knows if the patient will be totally cured of the disease. remember this bone marrow treatment is well past the preliminary stage so we know it works) cbis is still a pipes dream
