The reasons stocks Like SNDY and my little pharma play get so much attention is because they are real companies with real plans and futures. So if one can manipulate the price below market value far enough and get people to sell, they know it will bouce back. Otherwise what would be the point. Hedge funds do it with hundreds of millions of dollars being moved. In OTC, only takes a few thousand between a handful of traders. That is all that most of it is.
If you have something worth $10, on sale for $5 but can manipulate the price down for yourself and a few compadres to $2, you can make some money.
