Interesting. I interviewed for a job at the Bethlehem Steel iron ore mine in central MO in 1976. The benefits were awesome for the union hands. With vacation, sick days, personal days, etc. they worked about 10 months out of the year. I was interviewing for a supervisory position and decided not to take the job because management couldn't touch the union hands unless it was blatant insubordination. Two years later they had to close shop. Couldn't compete with overseas suppliers. Duh, I wonder why.
Here's a question for you. Does illegal immigration take jobs no one wants or does it keep wages in those jobs so low, no one wants them?
